At Cantoo City®, we build creative tools, wellness-based programs, and community experiences designed to make creativity easier to practice in everyday life. To protect the integrity of our work and ensure consistent experiences for our customers and community, we require all partners, organizations, and collaborators to adhere to the governance standards below.

Trademark

Cantoo City® is a registered trademark. Product names, designs, and program titles used on this website are proprietary brand assets. Use of our trademarks must follow proper attribution and cannot imply endorsement or affiliation unless a partnership is confirmed in writing.

Copyright and Program Materials

Unless otherwise stated, all materials are owned by Cantoo City® and protected under the Canadian Copyright Act. This includes:

  • Program names, structures, and "Doodle Square" methodologies.
  • Prompt packs, toolkits, workshop guides, and facilitator materials
  • Printable worksheets, templates, and digital downloads
  • Website content, product copy, original design assets
  • Doodle Square game kits and the Cantoo City® Advent Calendar of Creativity formats

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or adapt these materials without permission.

Partner and Community Use

We welcome community programming collaborations. If you are partnering with Cantoo City®, co-hosting an event with us, acting as the primary host organization, or facilitating sessions using Cantoo City® kits, tools, prompt packs, curriculum, or program framework, you may be granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use such materials solely for the approved program activities, subject to a written partnership arrangement.

Permitted with partnership approval

  • Using Cantoo City® kits and tools in workshops or sessions
  • Printing approved materials for participants within your organization
  • Sharing photos of workshops and outcomes with proper credit

Not permitted without written permission

  • Rebranding Cantoo City® programs as your own
  • Renaming or recreating our prompt packs or toolkits
  • Posting full prompt sheets, facilitator guides, or printable files publicly
  • Sharing our program materials outside your organization
  • Creating derivative versions of our named programs

Attribution Guidelines

When referencing our kits, tools, or programs, please use one of the following credit lines:

  • “Powered by Cantoo City®”
  • "Program designed by Cantoo City®”
  • “Kits and tools by Cantoo City®”
  • “In partnership with Cantoo City®”

Proper attribution helps protect Cantoo City® intellectual property, trademarks, and program materials.

Permission Requests

If you would like to use Cantoo City® materials, co-host a program, or build a long-term partnership, we are happy to explore options. Please contact us with:

  • Organization name and type, including whether you are a for-profit or non-profit entity
  • City and country of operation
  • Program description, intended audience, and age group (if applicable)
  • Expected number of sessions and participants
  • Timeline and kit requirements

We will respond with partnership options and approved usage terms.

Reporting Misuse

If you believe Cantoo City® materials or brand assets are being used without authorization, please contact us. We take brand integrity seriously and will review each case carefully.
